• Course runs for 10 weeks commencing 15th November, 2024
• Prepare food using basic methods of cookery, such as baking, steaming, grilling, etc.
• Follow standard recipes
• Use equipment safely and hygienically to prepare food
• Prevent food contamination
• Prepare, store and dispose food safely and hygienically
• Apply safe work practices in a commercial kitchen environment
• A nationally accredited Statement of Attainment
• A pathway to further study in cookery
• Credit toward both the Certificate II in Cookery and the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Skills to create basic dishes using a variety of cookery methods
  *The ability to organise and prepare food efficiently in a commercial kitchen environment
