Using a web browser go here: https://www.gog.com/en/account and find Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition/Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition, click on the game > More > Serial Keys and copy the key.

Redeem the key here: https://www.gog.com/en/redeem
This works with a number of games, but my understanding is that these keys are generally used to enable online multiplayer.
