This is one of those rare moments in Australian consumer history where we actually have advantages compared to overseas (since Breville is an Australian company). People in places like the US happily pay $1500+ USD as RRP for these machines, the same price they pay for equally priced Italian machines. This is due to the feature set and what you get in this machine just being so good. If you’re in the market to drop ~$1k on a coffee machine, this really is a no-brainer.
Those holding out for the sub $1k heydays I wouldn’t wait. That’s based on an old RRP we’re likely to never see again after they updated/improved the machine and cleared out the old stock
