Was looking to expand my plex library and looking for storage options. Lowest price in the last 30 days according to Amazon. I did an extensive comparison including looking at a NAS / DAS with internals for price comparison (my plex runs from a mini-pc), so purely looking at storage per TB cost benefit.
This still came out cheaper per TB than any of those options and I believe is the cheapest price (per TB) for hard drives currently available.
Be warned however, I did by an 18TB earlier this month which was shipped and clicking/dead on arrival unfortunately, however Amazon returns process was easy. Hopefully that was a one off and this order will be fine. Ended up going for two of these, as they have a cheaper per TB cost compared to the 18TB even though it’s come down in price since I placed my order.
